So much said by such a single word. Karen Marie & Brian William, October 16, 2004"
This was the beer that I brewed for my wedding. It was a strong porter, which I felt was appropriate because the beer needed to be strong and be able to stand on its own and represent itself with a great foundation, plenty of complexity and a smooth finish - much like a loving marriage. Surprisingly this beer got a huge response from all sorts of people, people who don't even normally drink beer even.
The label uses several elements which represent our wedding too. Our invitations were wood burt into cherry wood, cut out on a laser and then mounted to parchment. So I used a similar look when I printed the labels onto paper. The image is also from the wedding, I played with it in Photoshop to give it a Sepia type look too. Also, overlaying the image at the top and bottom are leaves from our wedding website that my brother designed and ran for us. The leaves to me represent the time of year and the the fact that he wedding was outside.
