Red Card Ale is an Irish Red Ale. This ale is the second creation brewed with help by Assistant Brewer Mike. The recipe for this batch is the same as the highly decorated first batch of Red Card Ale. Take the time to explore this original brew, it's worth all the time & effort that went into it. Respect beer.

This is a great beer. Very smooth, very clean, almost lager like. This was the first and only beer that I have reused a yeast cake from another batch. I actually used the 2nd generation yeast from the original Red Card Ale from March. So 4 MONTHS later and I took the chance on the yeast, and I have to say, for this beer I think it worked great. Though we had a fresh vial of WLP004, I figured WTF, let's either do it or blow the whole batch. It obviously worked. The WLP004 went to another great brew.
